In recent rock news, Greenday was playing a show in Detroit when they had to suddenly clear the stage. An Unauthorized drone was flying around the venue which prompted the venue to stop the show and get the band off stage because of a potential threat.
It’s unclear if the Drone really posed any threat or was just trying to record the show for free. Either way, The Detroit PD have stated they arrested the individual who flew the drone detaining him pending further investigation.
Not cool stopping a show and putting a dampen on the concert interrupting Greenday’s hit Longview.
Don’t be that person who stops the show, get a ticket instead!
