Sammy Hagar recently brought the Best of All Worlds Tour thru town and he brought with him a star-studded band including Michael Anthony, Joe Satriani and Jason Bonham ripping up the drums. Unfortunately, Jason Bonham had to leave the tour for unspecified family issues. This brought in Legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff to fill in for the tour and it kind of turned it into a Chickenfoot Reunion! Kenny Aronoff replaced Chad Smith back in 2011-12 before Smith rejoined for Chickenfoot’s most recent tour in 2016.
Kenny Aronoff has played with a huge lineup of big named artists and bands like The Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, Willie Nelson, and Bon Jovi just to name a few. He is most known for his 17-year run in John Cougar Mellencamp’s Band. It’s awesome that Sammy was able get someone behind the thrown that can throw down!
