Wow, you actually decided to find out what makes The Beav, The Beav!
(Don't worry, I won't tell.)
I'll keep it short -- since I am. I'm the dude who is in charge of keeping this website filled with information, entertainment, and hot babes! I'm also the butt of all the Freakin' New Guy's short jokes. I love Tool (the band, duh), Neurosonic, Disturbed, the Seahawks, Nalley Cheddar Cheese Chili with jalapenos and sour cream (and lots of crackers), NASCAR (go Kasey Kahne), and mostly I love being able to sit around and play kick-ass tunes and put pics of hot babes on the website for a living!
Born in Spokane, raised in a tiny little town of about 200 in northwest Montana. Spent WAY too much time working fast food before my first radio gig, pushing buttons and turning knobs at the local AM radio station that broadcast live high school sports games. After alot of whining and nagging on my part, they finally let me do some overnight weekend shifts on their FM Rock station. After a year, moved back to Spokane and did a stint at an AM news station reading the headlines and weather for a few months *yawn*. My claim to fame during this time was that I DID get to do one shift on the legendary Rock 106, when some dude named Tripp Rogers failed to show up for his overnight show. Apparently I impressed nobody, so I headed back to Montana to fill the weekday overnight shift (I wanted to get that overnight show thing right!) Well after finally mastering the middle of the damn night, I was moved to evenings, then mornings on a 'soft hits' station *yawn again*, then back to nights on the Rock station along side the Freakin' New Guy (except he had a real name, and a life, there). After my 3rd stay at the local padded room, I decided to come back to the thriving metropolis of Spokane (the closest thing to a city I had ever seen), and see what radio had to offer here. I end up spinning Oldies for a few months *yawn* before being rescued by G.A., doing weekends on what was then, the all-new Rock 94½ ("That Rocks!", remember?).
Fast forward to now, and I'm still here and can finally use those years of being a childhood computer geek to my advantage: Rockin' with you weeknights and weekends, keeping this website updated (with all those hot babes), and making sure the computer that plays our music keeps doing that. Oh, and they let me out sometimes to hang on the summer Rock Cruises and meet some of the bands that come to town. And I still get to push buttons and turn knobs on the AM station time to time *yawn*. Life is good.
So much for keeping it short, huh. If you've read this far, thanks for sticking around and listening, and feel free to let me know what you think about me, my show, the website, the station in general, or why the FNG always has to belittle me on his show!!
